Colorín Colorado - Bilingual parent resources offer tips on helping your child learn to read, succeed in school, and learn a new language; they also provide information about the U.S. school system and ideas on how to build a relationship with your child’s teacher and school.

Cox Connect2Compete - Low-cost internet access for families with K-12 children who qualify for free or reduced school lunch through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Grail Family Services - Based in San Jose, California, Grail Family Services' mission is to strengthen family capacity to support young children’s positive educational outcomes and to build a thriving community.

Khan Academy - A non-profit educational organization created by educator Salman Khan with a goal of creating a set of online tools that help educate students. The organization produces short lectures in the form of YouTube videos.

Little Free Library - This nonprofit organization inspires a love of reading, builds community, and sparks creativity by fostering neighborhood book exchanges around the world.

Senderos – Based in Santa Cruz, California, this nonprofit offers safe, family-centered after-school and weekend activities in an environment that encourages academic success, bilingual literacy, and pride in and connection to cultures of origin. Senderos also provides continuing education for adults who may not have completed their education and need skill building to improve their families’ lives.

Ventanilla de Oportunidades Educativas (VOE) - For high school students in the California Bay Area, this mentorship program pairs students from immigrant families to Bay Area university student mentors, including some from UC Berkeley.
